About Us

The story so far

All Believers Chapel, born after eleven impactful years as a prayer ministry in Leeds, stands as a thriving New Testament church reflecting God’s glory. Led by Rev. George Abakah and Evangelist Kwadwo Aboagye (Associate Pastor), the first meeting in October 2018 marked a perfect start, with 38 attendees at Building Blocks Nursery School, Beeston. The church swiftly organized, forming a seven-member deacon board by its first anniversary. The outbreak of Covid-19 in 2020 led to a temporary closure, but the church persisted through online meetings and support.

Post-pandemic, internal structuring continued, with the decision to relocate to St. Andrews Methodist Church for health reasons. The church's growth has been remarkable, from less than 40 members to over 150, including children. Unique weekly non-denominational Saturday prayers have become a hallmark, offering solace to believers in Leeds. The impact extends to Sunday services, showcasing growth in maturity and membership. All Believers Chapel, driven by the Holy Spirit, is making a significant impact on believers and the community at large.

What we Believe

Statement Of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe in the fall of man, who was created pure and upright, but fell by voluntary transgression.

We believe in salvation through faith in Christ, who, according to the Scriptures, died for our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, and that through His Blood we have Redemption.

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as an enduement of the believer with power for service, the essential, biblical evidence of which is the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of Christ in the Church today.
We believe in holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God.
We believe that deliverance from sickness, by Divine Healing is provided for in the Atonement.
We believe that all who have truly repented and believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour should regularly participate in Breaking of Bread.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ
